    We endeavour to have a complete list of movies in our database, but if you find one that is missing please Contact Us and we will look into adding it to our collection.
    What if a DVD gets lost in the mail ?
    We understand that occasionally a DVD may be lost in the mail through no fault of our members. It is part of our policy to accommodate for the occasional lost DVD via shipping. Please notify us immediately if you believe a DVD has been lost, by using Contact Us. If a DVD is lost we will monitor your account.

    Please note: If the circumstances arise we may charge you the RRP of each DVD lost.
    What if I damaged a DVD, what do I do ?
    If you or your DVD player have damaged the disc please notify us immediately of the damaged DVD by using Contact Us Please ensure you include details of the title that is damaged.

    Please note: If the DVD was damaged by you, we may charge you the RRP of the DVD.

    Contact Us and we will supply a new envelope alternately use a similar size protective envelope and address it to DVDJam, PO Box 3897, Nunawading VIC 3131
    DVD care & handling
    DVD's are reasonably durable, however, we ask that you take some precautions and exercise basic care and handling to help us maintain the integrity of the DVD.

    1. Handle the DVD only by its outer edge to prevent fingerprints.

    2. Always store the DVD in its protective cover when not in use.

    3. Do not leave the DVD near a heating appliance or in direct sunlight.

    4. Do not use any abrasive, solvent or cleaning solutions as chemical based cleaners can damage the DVD. You may use a soft, lint free clothto clean both sides of the DVD as needed. Always wipe, do not rub in a straight line from the center hole to the outer edge. Never wipe the DVD in a circular motion

    5. Always make certain the DVD is seated properly in the DVD player's tray before closing the tray door.

    6. When returning your DVD's always ensure you place the DVD inside its protective cover before putting into the reply paid envelope.
    NTSC format, what does this mean ?
    NTSC format is the American TV standard, as opposed to PAL the Australian TV standard. If you experience problems watching an NTSC-formatted disc (e.g. it appears in black & white), don't blame your DVD player, the culprit is more likely your TV. Please check your TV's manual or confirm with the manufacturer for more information.

    NOTE : Our full title information indicates video stamdards so always note this if you have a non NTSC-formatted TV.
    I received a DVD, but it won't play in my DVD player !
    Please check the following:

    1. Is your DVD player working correctly. Test your player with another disc.

    2. Check the surface of the DVD to make sure it isn't damaged or scratched. Expect some small blemishes but if there are some deep scratches, the disc may be damaged.

    3. You may want to try cleaning the disc with a soft lint-free cloth, cleaning from the centre of the disc to the outside edge. See DVD care & handling

    4. If you still can't get the disc to play, you can contact us by replying to the email that notified you that the DVD had been shipped. Please include the model of the DVD player.

      Billing
    How do I change my credit card details ?
    You may change your credit card details by visiting My Account and clicking on Credit Card Information
    Which payment methods are accepted ?
    We currently only accept payment by Visa, MasterCard or BankCard.
    When will my credit card be be charged ?
    Your card will be billed initially when you sign up with DVDJam and then on each monthly anniversary of the day you first started your membership.

    If for any reason the Bank rejects your credit card, you will be notified so you can specify an alternative card to use.
    What appears on my credit card statement ?
    Your statement will have a merchant trading name of "DVDJam Pty Ltd" except for WA customers who will have "RegalCroft".
    How much will I be charged if I don't return a DVD ?
    For each DVD that isn't returned the RRP will be charged to your card. If you have cancelled your account, you have 7 days to return your DVD's.
      Membership
    How do I sign up for DVDJam ?
    To sign up with DVDJam you need to be over 18 years of age with a valid credit card and email address. Click here to Join Now
    How do I close My Account ?
    You may close your account by visiting My Account and clicking on Change / Close / Suspend. Just fill in box 'Close My Account' and a email will be sent confirming account closure.

    NOTE : If you cancel before your plan end you will forfeit your remaining days, so advisable to cancel your subscription just before this date.
    I've forgotten my sign-in password !
    On the login page click on the Forgotten Your Password link to have your password emailed directly to you.
    I am going on Holidays, can I suspend my account?
    If you are going away on holidays or would like to put a temporary hold on your account visit My Account and click on Change / Close / Suspend

    Fill in box 'Suspend My Account' and the relevant dates. Any days that you were billed for prior to suspending your account will be credited to your account when it becomes active again. (Note: All outstanding DVD Titles must be returned to DVDJam before suspension are effective)

    2. Your credit card will be debited prior to despatch of dvds. This debit will be be refunded if you choose to leave after Trial period and on return of all dvds. If you choose to continue debited amount will be used towards plan chosen.

    3. To avoid being charged at full price after Trial , you must cancel your account before the Trial period ends and return all dvds within 7 days.

    4. You can cancel anytime, for any reason, with no obligation. The cancellation will take effect once all your currently rented dvds have been returned.

    5. There are no extensions of the Trial period for any reason.

    PROMO CODES :

    3. To avoid being charged at full price after the Promo period, you must cancel your account before the Promo period ends and return all dvds on or before the date you cancel.

    5. There are no extensions of the Promo period for any reason.

    7. If you change your plan or suspend the service while on a Promotion, you forfeit any benefits relating to the Promo.

      How do I order / rent my DVDs?
    How do I rent DVD's ?
    After you sign up you can choose your selection of DVD's by using the SEARCH or BROWSE facilties. When you find a DVD you like just click on the RENT button and it will be added to your 'MY LIST'

    Always try to keep at least 15-20 titles in your list at all times to ensure a good flow of DVD's can be sent to you.
    My List how it works !
    Once you are a Member you can add selections to "My List". This system collects the selected DVDs and placing them into a list similar to a shopping cart system. As the DVD Title becomes available, the prioritised items are then supplied, and the remaining items progress up your list.

    Make sure you have at least 15-20 titles in your list at all times to ensure a good flow of DVD's can be sent to you.

    You can change the order of titles on your 'My List' by use of the up and down arrows or by changing the numbers in boxes on the left hand side and then by clicking on the UPDATE button.
    How does DVDJam treat BONUS disks ?
    We count BONUS disks the same as any other disk. Therefore you the customer decide if you wish to watch a BONUS disk. If you do, just add them to your list as per normal. NOTE : They will count as a disk sent so choose carefully !
    What is the maximum number of titles I can add to My List ?
    50 titles
    What is the benefit to me of keeping the maximum title choices (50) in My List ?
    The greater the number of titles in My List means you will have higher priority in receiving your chosen titles. In addition, there will always be a list of titles ready to be dispatched.
    Why are PC, Xbox & PS2 games only available on a 3 plan or above ?
    Games are more expensive and have a shorter shelf life than movie titles so we have made 1 game rented = 2 DVD movies or music titles. We have also made the decision to allow only game rentals start from a 3 plan so customers can also have movies alongside selected games.
    Therefore If you are on a 3 DVD plan you can choose to rent 1 game and 1 movie or music title,
    4 DVD plan you can choose to rent 2 games or 1 game and 2 movies or music titles,
    5 DVD plan you can choose to rent 2 games and 1 movie or music title or 1 game and 3 movie or music titles.

    Does DVDJam on sell my current & past details ?
    DVDJam does not sell, trade or rent your personal information to other parties.
    Is my personal information secure & private ?
    Your confidence that DVDJam protects your private & personal details is paramount.

    DVDJam is committed to your privacy. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for a complete description. Any information we collect is used for the following purposes:

    Your email address and password are required for you to access your account.

    Your postal address, credit card details and contact details are needed to provide the DVDJam service to you.
    How does DVDJam address security of my credit card details ?

      Shipping & Returning DVD's
    How do I receive my DVD's ( CBD)
    All DVD's are sent directly to the delivery address you specify on joining. DVD's are dropped off to your prefered CBD supplier each day by 12.30pm. When a DVD is shipped to you an email confirmation will be sent notifying you of the shipment and will be available for pickup the following day.

    Please note email confirmation will also detail a random generated security number to be quoted to distributor in conjunction with your name on pick up.
    How do I return my DVD's ( CBD )
    All DVD's sent to you should be returned in protective cover and placed in the supplied envelope . DVD's are picked up from your prefered CBD supplier each day by 12.30pm. When a DVD is received by us, our processing centre will notify you via email that we have received the DVD. We will then send you the next DVD available in your "My List" for you to pickup.
    How do I receive my DVD's ( Postal )
    All DVD's are sent directly to the delivery address you specify when joining. DVD's are sent via Australia Post usually within 2 working days. For remote rural areas the delivery time may be a bit longer. When a DVD is shipped to you an email confirmation will be sent notifying you of the shipment
    How do I return my DVD's ( Postal )
    All DVD's sent to you should be returned in protective cover and placed in the prepaid envelope which was enclosed in the original delivery to you. When a DVD is received by us via Australia Post usually within 2 working days (remote rural areas the delivery time may be a bit longer), our processing centre will notify you via email that we have received the DVD. We will then send you the next DVD available in your "My List".
    No DVD's to pickup ( CBD ) ?
    The CBD system unlike the Postal is a next day service after your drop off so if for any reason no DVD is with your prefered supplier please Contact Us. Also make sure you have received an email from DVDJam informing you that the DVD has been dispatched.

    NOTE : The CBD supplier is just a delivery mechanism so Please address all issues and problems to DVDJam and we together will sort it out to your satisfaction.
    I haven't received the DVD's I ordered. Is there a problem ( Postal ) ?
    Occasionally there are delays in the mail system and it may take a bit longer than usual. Please ensure you have allowed reasonable time for delivery. Also make sure you have received an email from DVDJam informing you that the DVD has been dispatched. If you have received this email and it has been more than 7 days please Contact Us notifying us that you haven't received the DVD.

    If you did not receive this email then Log In to your account and check your My List Despatch details to see if the system registered your order.

    How long can I keep DVD's for ?
    You may keep a DVD for as long as you want, as long as you are a registered member. If you have closed your account make sure you return your DVD's within 7 days, otherwise the RRP of each disc will be charged to your credit card
    When I return a DVD, do I get confirmation ?
    Yes, when your DVD's are received at our processing centre, they will be checked for any damages, cleaned, scanned back into the system and then an email will be sent notifying you that we have received the disc.
    I have returned my DVDs but forgot to put the movies back into their protective cases.
    DVDJam uses protective mailers to protect the DVD's in transit. If you've sent back the movies without their protective cases, the movies may be damaged. Damaged movies may billed to your credit card at the RRP, at the sole discretion of DVDJam as per our Terms and Conditions.
